Removing accelerator pedal?

How to? I just discovered a couple of days ago that my MC has got a "leak"!!! and that there is some water sitting under the carpet. After taking the entire interior apart I found one of the flex hoses draining water from the sunroof disconected - most likely taken off by either PO or someone else (pissed-off mechanic perhaps??? fixed that but now I'm drying the carpets... would really help if I can remove accelerator pedal to speed-up the process... did anyone do this already?

thanks,

actually the drain tubes on the sunroof pop off all the time. we usually have 1-2 cars a month come in for water leaks. when you put it back try to clamp it down, to keep it in place. oh and do both sides, because even if only one side was off its only a mtter of time before the other pops.

to take off the gas pedal you have to push down on a small tab thats almost in the middle of the pedal. and then pull the pedal towards the drivers door. give it a good pull, then disconnect the plug.

good luck!
