Well I don't know how old mozzarella is but I know that there are people who have not been exposed to car parts from their youth like some of the old hands. In the good old days, when cars broke down more often, it was necessary to know some basic car stuff just to get home sometimes. These days, if a car quits , a lot of times you just have to call the wrecker unless you have a computer in you tool kit.

Help the boy out here. Now listen son, from one of the old guys, just be aware that of all the fluids in a car, brake fluid is one of the worst because it can take the paint off the car. When your fooling with it don't spill it any where or get it on your ands and then touch the paint.

If you continue to read these posts, the old guys can fill you in on a lot good information.

PS I see that while I was composing my little note, Yo'sDad beat me to the punch. See, he's a nice guy after all. The old guys have to teach the younguns.

well i'm a young guy here(haha) and i know a thing or two about cars, so let me tell you, don't listen to this old guys, they are still thinking carbs and drums... ha ha. just joking guys...

now seriously i would not go back to the shop who installed those brakes, and i would make sure to let anyone you know or care about the issue you had and the safety factor involved.

glad to hear you got the car fix but i would get the pads replaced as stated before by "yo's dad" the brake fuid can/will damage the pads and any paint it comes in contact with(if not cleaned properlly/quickly)

now listen to this old guys and start learning how to fix your car!!! lol
