Man, mine was quite a change from the R53 I owned before. The rattles came with the car on delivery. What a change with the new one.No rattles on the R56 at all. Even my wife claimed it seemed to have improved in quality from our '03, and I even got a sunroof this time around.

Mine has no rattles, or squeaks or any other errant noise that is not supposed to be there. But I only have 650 miles on mine.

It's a British car, it is suppose to rattle.

If they did not want it to rattle, they would make them in Japan.

I have intermittent door/window rattle on both sides when on rough pavement. Can't decide what it is or why it comes and goes, so I just turn the music up and ignore it.

No, nothing. Am I missing out on a good OEM option?

If my drivers door is unlocked the lock button by the window rattles when I'm jamming really loud to my stereo. =)

Lock the door and it goes away. That's the only rattle I have.

I'm with you! I have a rattle that I hear in my left ear. It sounds like it's coming from where the door closes. It's off and on and sounds almost like a speaker buzz, but it's not.

Okay, so the last two nights after my drive home my car has been, uh, "gassy." Shortly after I shut it down I hear some noises that can best be described as farts. They seem to be coming from the rear quarter of the car, before the muffler. Anyone else have this little treat?

I've got a rattle/buzz in my dash on the passenger side. Not really noticable on the freeway with the stereo on but I can hear it around town when the cabin is quiet. My old Austin Healey Sprite had so many rattles we couldn't hear the radio, so the radio was pulled out.

I encounter a buzzing sound from the secret comaprtment by the glovebox. It very very faint and only occurs when I pass by rough pavement or when I accelerate and the tachometer is at a certain RPM

I also hear the driver side window rubbing against the rubber seals.
