Help! Extra heat

I put a hitch on my 05 cabrio and she did great. I towed my husband's Ducati, about 800 lbs trailer and all. But I'm concerned I ran her too hard while towing. Now my boot gets extra hot, not just the exhaust pipes, the bumper gets hot also. My gear shift cover and the chrome around it gets hot when I drive spirited. Driving normal the gear shift area doesn't get hot, but you can feel the heat under the shift cover. Driving normal, within 10 miles of the speed limit, my bumper was hot this morning; highway miles.

Any input?
