Can the dealer re program cvt full-throttle shift points?

I could gain significant improvement in passing and accelleration in general. Mine shifts at 6000 rpm, but I have engine mods that would be more realised if I could shift at 6500 instead. For one thing, my engine is just getting happy when it shifts...And the shift drops it a little too low in the rpm range, so time is wasted getting back into the power band. The other thing is that there is so much time between shifts, so that kills accelleration and so raising the shift point(at full throttle) would yield better accelleration just for keeping the engine engaged longer before the the long hesitation and shift. I guess that even a completely stock engine with a cvt transmission would accellerate better for the last reason I listed. Having the dealer re program it should be cheaper than buying an aftermarket chip or program, right? -Jeffy.
