Loose Trim Ring

The lower trim ring under the grill is loose on my 07. I only notice it when I washing the car, because it is still firmly connected on the driver side. I can't tell that any piece or clip is broken, but something might be missing. Any advice? Im sure this would be covered, but the dealer is two hours away.

Point it out to your dealer.

The lower left quater of my rear trim ring wouldn't stay put. The dealer believes a couple fasterning tabs have rounded off a bit. Being replaced under warranty.

Probably a good first step... I was thinking that a little dollop of Gorilla Glue on the 2 or 3 tabs would do the trick, but I'd rather have a working part, instead.

I have exactly the same problem. There is a tab on the grill holding the left side in position. There does not appear to be a tab on the right side. Nothing is there to hold the chrome piece tight.

If you are talking about the lower chrome bar, on your upper front grille, there is a snap in latch on each side of that bar, this enables you to remove the this bar so you can gain acess to the other latches which release the entire grille. Obviously yours is not latched properly or is broken off. I know because I have fitted my driving lamps there. BDY... these latches are very obvious visually so if it is broken it will be easy to see..
