I see so many minis around town, so I figured why not start a spotted thread to see if they are on NAM!

There's a blue R56S that parks very close by to where I live, one block north of the loop! If you're on here, are you a student at Wash U?

Then I've seen a red R56S with crown spoke wheels on WU campus, just wondering if you're here on NAM!

I honestly see too many MINIs on my daily commute to remember all of them though, they're quite common in STL

 

Grey R56S parked next to me, white stripes/white roof with web spokes. Love the color combo!

 

Was the Red one a newer (09) JCW? Might have been me. I work for WashU.

 

That particular one wasn't, but I have seen another red JCW with web spokes (I think!) around the Loop. Today I also was behind a PW R56 Cooper

 

ditto minis are pretty damn common in stl

 

The question is..do you guys do the wave at stl?

I wave at every MINI i see!

unfortunately, the majority do not wave back :(

 

lol i dont wave, too many minis in town, most who bought the car cuz it's cute.

I'm planning on going to the next autox here. Looking at stlsolo that'll be in March or April?

 

I see a green ( I think) MINI Sidewalk edition parked almost daily on East 95th street in. Manhattan, beautiful car, I just don't know how she/he manage to have the same parking spot that's almost impossible here lol, I wave at the empty MINI lol. Out of 100 waves I get non back... I don't know what's wrong with people :-)

 

3/29 is a test n tune, 4/6 is a school, 4/27 is the first real event

Thanks for the info! 4/27 is probably the worst time for me though, start of reading week and final exams. I might have to try for things 1-3 hours away if they have earlier events.

Keep posting the meet ups.. my head whips around when I see a Mini with some mods.. Not too many around my stomping grounds (West County) from my drives around I270

Anyone gather at the Sonic in Kirkwood during the summer Friday nights? A nice group of Minis would be very cool to see.
