looking for mechanic for header and SC pulley install

hey fellow STL motorists :-) ive been getting a few quote around town to have my OBX headers(w/o cat) and ALTA 15% SC pulley installed. BimmersRus wants 450, reliance motors on north kingshighway wants slightly less...does anyone have a mechanic "hookup" or have other quality places i should check out? Thank you very much. I live in Ladue right near the Galleria if that helps..

Bavarian Enterprises, Inc on Olive and 170. John LaClair is the owner and he's as honest as you get. When I had a BMW I found them to be cheaper and more reliable than Bimmers R Us.

I would recommend Reid Vann Imports. Their chief mechanic John is awesome and did a great job on my 15% pulley. They are used to installing performance mods.

Contact Waylen at Way Motor Works in Indianapolis, he is in Saint Louis a lot and there isn't anyone else I would let touch my car. His phone number is:
317-201-8670, his web site is:http://www.waymotorworks.com. If he isn't going to be in town, Indy isn't very far. Ask anyone who has had him do work for them and they will tell you he is tops.
Anyone can do a pulley, but not everyone can do one right. It is really easy to damage the supercharger bearings.
Good luck.

Agreed. It was worth the trip to Indy to get the stuff done on my car. He installed a pulley, intake, exhaust, camber plates, sway bar, and BBK in an afternoon. I was back home the same day. He knows his stuff.

I have heard a lot of good about Waylen. I'm looking to get some more mods, and he's probably the only person I would let touch my car, and I haven't even met him. ha ha
