Let Chris & know if your interested.
Also I discussed with Chris about meeting monthly at Bar Louie on
a Tues when their $6 burgers, grilled chix, veggie, & trukey burgers.
Get back to this post and let us know. Oh, Louie is family friendly_bring the kids as I'm a grandpa and my wife & I can handle most anything !!!

Alright! Another member! Welcome Andrew. Things are getting going. We're going to get together sometime this month for our first "official" meeting. It looks like at least 3 of us will be at the Dragon this year.

I had to go back home to Evansville for a quick trip a couple of weeks ago and saw a Silk Green MINI at the dentist office at the corner of Buena Vista and Tremont (I think it was Tremont...I lived nearby for 18 years, you would think I would know the road names but, alas, no) on the North side of town. Does it belong to anyone on here? I was super excited because it is only the second Silk Green I have ever seen in person. We were out walking the dogs and I wanted to wait for the owner to come out but I got vetoed...

I've not seen this one yet and that's my side of town! I have seen three others this week that are not in the club yet. I didn't have time to chase them down. It's always on my way into work.

Hi! So I am new to the group and had a quick question. Does anyone know who can align the front end of a Mini outside of having the dealership do it? Took a nasty dip into a pothole and we now like to pull to the right, alot! Lucas Oil did change my oil for me and the owner said he does keep a couple of the mini filters there so that's a plus. On the alignment I am at a loss because Raben would have to "check" with their alignment guy that was not in. I am thinking if they've never had one in there then I probably should avoid letting them try.

check before alignment

Hi Erin, welcome to our little club. I don't know where to get aligned, but be sure and check strut tower mount. Look in top of tower mount to make sure rubber bushing that holds end of strut is not tore. I had my S serviced at D&R and found mine to be tore even though car only has 34000 mi. Pothole can also mushroom tower so look over closely. If you have a problem there are upgrades. I am ordering mine Monday.
Good luck,Larry

So good news is that it was not a strut mount the bad news is the fix was replacing my tires but they were due since I have had the car for 4 years and that's the original set. Expert Tire on First Ave did a great job. I was so happy that my Mini was not pulling to the right that I got a speeding ticket and I was due for that too since I have dodged that for 4 years too.
