As Dave said, you (personally) can not have a passenger other than an instructor. But... instructors can have passengers in their own cars meaning your brother could get rides. And if there is an age limit for that, it's very low. A friend's son (Otto, only 12) came to the last races and he got rides all day long.

What happened to your car?
A couple of MINIS will be leaving 1950 S. Sepulveda Blvd Los Angeles CA 90025 at 4.20am sharp tomorrow morning (Saturday 4th), if anyone would like to caravan with, please be there sharp.
Thanks.
Thanks.
I just cleared 1250! But, we aren't going to be there tomorrow. I think it's time to get some new shocks installed. Dan wants to autocross soon!
Stock shocks are fine for autocross... in fact stock everything is fine, you dont need to prep the car in ANY way. It's just your driving skills that need prepping.
As for prepping my driving skills, maybe we should hit malibu canyon rd this weekend.
Missed you and Dan, CG. I would guess any shop could do the install, but I was glad to have taken my car to Steve's since he noticed a peculiar issue during the install and fixed it on the spot. Not sure another shop would have caught that.
Had a blast today, even though my times left something to be desired.
(practice, practice, grasshopper- but try to remember you're not driving Ms. Daisy) Thanks for all the tips, though Matt and Dave.
First round of pics...

Woo hoo! We had fun. Would I do it again? Uhhh.. not sure. I was SO tired driving home and the fact that I had a passenger that was sleeping did not help one bit. Oh yeah and I should mention that same passenger was a bit cranky that he had to drive an automatic.
I managed to get a bit sunburned and my left arm is a bit sore from either sleeping on it or from Dave's camera.
Seriously, that is one large piece of equipment! I don't know if I took any decent photos for you because it was quite a challenge just carrying that thing.
Well, all that matters is that we had fun.. and it was great seeing Dave and Nick again, as well as meeting Matt, Jason, Jacques, and everyone else's name that I forgot. (Sorry, I think my brain is still sleeping).

Thanks for posting the link to the results Dave. Woo hoo!!
That sure was fun time. Lunch was tasty, the event ran without a hitch. Excecpt the person who ran over the power cord for the timing @ the finish line. Hehehehe, that must have been some drift :P
Thanks to all you MINI folks that helped to make it a very friendly atmosphere. CAMP MINI was a great place to hang out. Even if the shade kept moving around on us.
I look forward to seeing all of you at the next event. Well, except for Matt, he has a coup to get trained for :P
