If anybody's going to be tipping one at the Olde Ship be sure to have a pint of Guinnes. They serve the best Guinness I've ever had. And the Beamish and Smithwicks are good as well, and so is the food.

I'm going to try and make it to the Olde Ship, you guys will be there around 11AM right?

Also beware they only serve imperial pints thats 20oz. so go easy. I don't want to see any wrecked MINI's out there.

Hey allenski...certainly come and hang out. The Neighborhood is in Aliso Viejo. When we first became MINI owners last year with our first MINI, we would drive up to Newport Beach and then take PCH all the way down to Dana Point almost every weekend - we would usually stop in Dana Point for dinner. We've tried Thai This and Thai That...any suggestions?

Another thing for South OC MINI folk is every 2nd Saturday morning of every month, a group of SCMM'ers meet up at the Crystal Cove Car show and then caravan as a group to the Club breakfast in Seal Beach/Long Beach. You get to see all the exotics, classics and muscle cars...then hang out with more MINI owners for breakfast.

Hope to see you motoring on the 5 or PCH soon. Once you've broke in your MINI, I'll tell you about some fun motoring things you can do in our area.

lexster05, I'd love to join y'all....as soon as I get my MINI of course. I just drove by "The Neighborhood" tonight, while on Pacific Park and passed it by. When I saw it I remembered your post. I know Thai This and Thai That. I believe Thai That is under new management and has a different name, but they still serve good Thai food.

There is a great patio restaruant in Dana Point that plays live music every night called the Reneissance Cafe. Atmosphere is pretty casual and fun. I can talk more about Dana Point later on. But thanks for the invite. Those caravans and drives from Newport sound fun. I'll let you know when I'm ready.

Hi,
I'm originally from Newport Beach, but I live in LA now. Just picked up my car yesterday! Can't wait to get out of LA and move back to the beach. We're thinking San Clemente.

We just looked a a nice little townhouse in San Clemente this afternoon. Comes with a two car garage, a little side yard and a view of the sea. I think this may be the one.
We can't wait to get out of LA. Especially when you considering that I drive a new car and live 1 mile from EAST LA. Yeah, time to go home.

Maybe we should start an Super Secret Orange County Mini Society. I'll start working on a hand-shake.

Never been to the Fisherman...where is it?

Also, Orange County (refuse to call it the OC) really should have it's own llittle club. We deserve it.

Long live the Super Secret Orange County Mini Society!!!!

I just discovered that there are three other MINI owners at my work. This makes 1 Cooper convertible, and 2 Coopers and my S Cooper all totalling 4 MINI's in our parking lot. I think we can start our own club.

It is totally possible. My friend has a red '67 MC and a PW/MCS on it's way to his dealership. I think that brings the total membership to 6?

It's on!

I lived walking distance from the pier for 12 years. We now live in Rancho Santa Margarita. Gateway to the canyons . I was surfing in SC today.

Here is a new link to the SoCal Mini Day Charity Blood Drive that is taking place in Orange County on October 29th.

If you don't have your MINI yet, don't worry. We are raffling off a few thousand dollars in MINI goodies donated by the sponsors, so come win some stuff for your (present or future) MINI!
