Smini is getting new soles on some old shoes ... and while my son is no longer going with me, I am bringing a friend who is a long time BMW guy (though, inexplicably, he does not own one now ). In fact his very first car was a beater '68 1600 that he restored to an awesome condition, selling it for $3800.00 in 1982!

I CANT WAIT, this Autocross is going to be the best ever.

Competition will be FIERCE.

They are a lightly used set of 15x7 Rota Slipstreams (Graphite with the polished lip) and are autocross only. I still have my Rewinds. The Slipstreams are roughly 12 lbs and the Rewinds are 14.6 lbs each, so about a 10 lbs reduction in unsprung weight.

It is, it is. I am just yanking the proverbial chain. I am actually glad to see people taking this seriously. I know of quiet a few people who have gotten wheels, tires, other mods, etc. Hell I had the suspension on Angelina redone myself. It should make for an interesting and competitive Saturday. As we used to say back in the day: "If you can't run with the Big Dogs, stay home."
