Mod friendly dealers

Hi All,

Not sure how active this forum is but I am looking for some info for SoCal specific. Just got a 16 JCW and plan on taking her out to AX. I am confident that will lead to some suspension and more HP modifications. I also still want to take advantage of my free maintenance so do any of our local dealers happen to be mod friendly and when taking it in for the oil changes etc no grief?

Also what about any coders here locally? I would like to get a few things changed up and warnings removed.

Cheers.

I guess lastly any other forums to check out for SoCal activity.

The law states you can do anything you want to the car and "if" you have a failure the dealer has to prove the failure is caused by your mod. If they can't prove it they have to warranty it. Check out Moss Mag Act.
With an F chassis I'd put an intercooler on it first.

Well headed in for its first free service at 10k. Third oil change. Should be fun to hear what Crevier Mini who I have not had great experience with before many years ago will say about the car. You can see from my sig the mods done. I'll report back.

Surprisingly the experience with Crevier was not bad. Took it in for its 10k service. My third oil change but the first free one from Mini. All other services have been my Indy. shop. No grief for the exhaust and the suspension mods. Didn't try to upsell my on anything.

Certainly not the same experience I had with my last Mini years ago.

If its just normal maintenance they won't give you any trouble. Unless you are going through brakes really fast. They won't blame the mods but could make you pay for them. Just a byproduct of driving fast and track days.
