Can anyone suggest a detailer in Socal near the Irvine area? My driver's side door has a tear in the vinyl panel. One detailer that I went to wanted $100 to cut out the tear, fill it with dyed plastic. The thought of a dye job does NOT thrill me to pieces.

Woh, that was fast. Unfortunately, Geocities doesn't allow cross posting, you have to copy and paste....I know...but it's free.

Surely you jest?!

Live with it Dude. It's a little battle scar is all. Next time take your steel toe capped boots off before you get in or out of your car.

Or if you want me to be serious about this...get yourself a little bottle of superglue at the 99 Cent store and save yourself $99.01.

Brand new car I've had for a month. The tear happened somewhere between the dealership in NY and the auto transportation to here in Irvine. So yes...I'm still in paranoid new car owner mode...At any rate, I'd like to know what options there are.

And I don't own any steel toed boots, just heels tanks .
