I am moving to New Mexico from Germany in January and want to know if there are many or any MINI's there? LOL

 

Joe, I know of at least two - both in Las Cruces. One is me (elect. blue/white top, Cooper S, sports package), the other is white, details unknown. Closest MINI dealer to here is in Scottsdale/Phoenix, AZ. If you're going to be in northern NM, probably closest dealer will be in Littleton (Denver), CO. Let me know where in NM you'll be moving to.

 

Joe, I live in Albuquerque and I've seen four other Mini's. I have an Electric Blue/White S and Have seen a Red S, a Pepper White Cooper and Two Silk Green Coopers. I have heard tales of another Electric Blue S in town and have seen an ad in the paper trying to sell an S for quite a bit over list. There are also a few in Santa Fe. Lillidawg is correct in that the closest dealers will be in Denver or Phoenix.

New Mexico need a dealership in a bad way. From what I gather, a significant percentage of the out of state sales from Denver go to New Mexico. Hoepfully MINI will see the light.

 

Do you mean there is a New Mexico?
Is it part of the United States like Guam?

Yes its true. New Mexico has some of the poorest counties in the country, strangely also has one of the top 5 counties per capita income- Los Alamos at 80k.

I'm up in Northern NM in Taos with a DS/W MCS, now at the shop in Dever. There is one other here, a black MC whose owner lives in an earthship (solar house).
