Phoenix SCCA Solo ll Fall Series Starting up Sept. 14th
The Phoenix Solo ll Fall Series is starting up 9/14. They will be running out at Arizona Motorsport Park (AMP). Details can be found at: http://www.azsolo2.com/
We have 4-5 Mini's that show up most of time, would like to see more. It really is a lot of fun and you get to safely find the limits of your car. If if don't know what it is, it's basically driving a course marked with cones. Speeds reach @ 60MPH and only a few cars on the course at a time. You only get 3 or 4 runs and your best time counts. There are different car classes so you can be competitive. Novice class for beginners. Check out the web site it will answer most of your questions. Hope to see you there.

Cool! I'm going to have to come out and watch on the 14th!
My brother in DC just sent pics of a class he attended in DC, says it is a blast.
I've never even seen autocross so want to spectate first and then check to see if there's a possiblity of introductory lesson before jumping in.

Hey that was fun!
Only spectated for a couple of hours this morning, but it was great to see some fine MINIs running the cones. Most impressed by an unmodified BRG Cooper ('cept slick tires) that ran very smoothly through the course each run. I know I'll take the December class now.
