NO DRAMA, (Imagine that) NO BS, (Or JD for that matter) LESS TALKING (I guess without the Drama there won't be much talking) AND MORE DRIVING, (Road trip that gets you out of the valley heat makes sense) AND NO DUES. (All that happens with dues is people fight how to spend the money.)

Let's see if you can raise the bar

Shouldn't be that hard.

As I said on the 'other' site you posted this at, I really don't see the need for 3 clubs in one City, especially when one of them was more than willing to work with you on setting up the type of events you wanted to do, and is willing to work with people who couldn't afford the (extremely reasonable) membership dues. (I can't see how anyone who can afford a MINI but can not afford a $25 membership fee) But hey, Different strokes...

Good luck guys.

"there is no need for a 3rd Mini Club in Arizona"

The last time I checked, there was at least 4000 mini owners in Arizona.

The DMC club has 80 members, AZMO probably the same amount.

That gives MINI CLUB ARIZONA 3,840 possible members.

Then why does AZ need two MINI clubs? Wouldn't one club be enough?

hmmmmm. Of course one should one pay membership dues only to see there's no membership control or accountability of a board of directors who fight, argue, scream, etc on how to spend the money collected from the seemly rich members who can afford a Mini. One example of proper expenditure is a seemly overdone and exspensive mulit color semi-quartly newsletter written and produece by the self serving. Particulary when there is a lack of written accountablity (ie "a report" ) shown to the membership; only the quickly given verbal "We gots Lots of money" at a far away annual membership meeting where the rules are changed as you wait.

Just a point of view of someone who got their hand slapped for raising it and asking questions. Your point of view maybe clouded by improperly placed loyality

Victor got a good idea here and all the present AZ clubs have done in the past is trash him when he has approached them with ideas.

I don't really think it's the club's as a whole, just a few members that post their dislike for him. Remember MINIWORKS sells and wrenches on many more members MInis than those who complain. Not to mention the super deals he gives members of the other clubs on performance parts!

MINI CLUB ARIZONA is not here to compete with the other clubs in the state of Arizona, just as the two other clubs do not compete with each other. The market of MINI owners shows there is enough probable membership for each of the three clubs. Obviously each club feels it serves a different need of the Mini Community, and there is nothing to fear from that!

There are many people who are members of both clubs presently and I don't really think that bothers members, does it? And for the future... there will probably be MIni owners that are members of all three. It doesn't cost anything to join MCA so what's there to loose?
