The 1st Flow MINI Cooper Rally Sunday, November 17th.
A light complementary brunch will be served at Flow MINI
(2565 Peters Creek Parkway Winston-Salem, NC 27127)
from 10:00am - 11:00am. Lee Davis will lead us on one of his scenic drives, lasting from 1 1/2 to 6 hours. Alternate returning routes will allow you options to tailor the rally to your schedule. The rally offers a late lunch, winery tour and tasting at Chateau Morrresette Winery (by reservation) if you choose.

There is a group from RTP driving together to Flow. They have started a thread on MINI2.

 

If I didn't have be in Miami/Homestead for the last NASCAR race I would be there! But I am taking my Mini with me.

Are the plans still on for Sunday? Looks like cold and rainy in VA this weekend.

 

Jus spoke with the folks at Flow, the event is scheduled as posted. Even if you don't go for the entire length of the rally there is still the light brunch at Flow, and hanging with fellow MINI owners.

 

Group Ride To Flow

If any MINIs would like to ride together to Flow on Sunday please meet at Concord Mills. I will be in the parking lot in front of The Bass Pro Shop @8:00AM leaving by 8:20AM. The route will be I85 North to Route 52 North.

So who went to the Flow rally? I hope you all didn't get slowed down at all by the snow!

Flow Rally was a great time. I followed Janibird up from Charlotte and back. It was very well organized with a lot of twists and turns. I think the count was 49 MINIs. We left Flow about 11:00AM and arrived at the Winery in Floyd, VA about 3:30PM for lunch. I put 372 miles on my MINI on Sunday. I am ready for the next rally.

Thanks mininc! I can't believe there were 49 MINI's. Must have been amazing to see them all. I should have mine by the time there is another rally there, so that will make at least 50!

It was fun - for the time that I was there! I seemed to the only casualty. My transmission lost 5th and 6th gears. Dan from Flow was great - he tried to fix my car in the parking lot at Pilot Mtn. But no luck.

My car will get fixed and I will be ready for the next one.
