15th Annual Spring Daytona Beach Car Show and Swap Meet
I contacted the organizers of this huge, popular event, to ask if an area could be set aside for Minis, and they said, "Sure! How many?".

Anyone interested would register individually, and indicate their interest in a Mini corral. If you would notify me, I could keep a tally and tell them roughly how many to expect.
More:
The Fall meet put on by the same folks is known as the Turkey Rod Run. It's easily the biggest in the southeast, probably in the country. Their Spring meet is rapidly becoming as big. The Spring meet is more universal, with enthusiasts entering modern customs, street & hot rods, classics and antiques. Many marques like to band together in their own "corrals", such as Porsches, T-Birds, Impala SS, etc. A natural for Minis, classic and new! No competion or judging; just an immense gathering of car nuts. There will be thousands of cars, a large crafts mart, a monster automotive swap meet, special corral for cars for sale, perhaps auctions. Entertainment and a large area of food vendors, including those good ol' greasy gut bombs! This all fills the interior of the International Speedway.
I know that soon Minis will be a presence and attraction there; why not this year?
