That sounds good for the 10th. So tuesdays could be a pub night kind of deal. Also do they have food there?

 

O man I live right by there! The place is kinda a cool spot, GREAT fish n' chips!! The staff is nice too, I will deff see you guys there on the 10th!

 

I've never been there, but I assume it's like any other pub would be a yes to your question.

Haven't had a chance to read through all 8 pages... But do you guys ever do The Towers meet on Fridays on 595/University (Home depot parking lot).

I went there with some RX-7 guys (I have an FD I keep pretty) and was impressed by the turn out.

I talked to the owner Richard of the Kings Head Pub in Dania, we are all set for the 10th of May. He is setting asside the front parking for us, should hold 10-12 MINI's. He has a large selection of english food with large portions.

The parking entrance is just passed the red phone booth, it is right off of the patio and bar, should make for a nice evening.

Now if we can get a good turn out, so please pass the word.

Ahh I forgot a friend of mine had just gotten an 06 not too long ago, he will prob come also!

 

I haven't been out there in a few years Do they still get a big turn out? I remember there used to be a few people who sold neon and other stuff that would show up there!

 

I'm trying to swap with someone. If not I will make the next one

 

I've only been once and the turn out was impressive.

I suppose if all you want to see is Mini's, it's not the place for you. But, if you're interested in cars in general, it's a good time.

As for selling stuff, I didn't go look, but there were vendors on one side of the lot. Probably just selling just stuff like racing stripes and mirror caps. :P

So how did everything go at the Pub?

I have been on the SSM website and there was a club formed Gold Coast Minis. It kind of died out but there are still people who actively post in the local club section. I have posted there and asked for any opinions on a good location, etc.

Also was thinking I know lots of people in the city of Delray, maybe some kind of gathering for driving event or food, etc. I'll find out

Everyone is welcome to join club members for some Mini camaraderie at Red Zone Sports Bar and Grill, a cool hangout just 1 mile north of the Dolphin on NW 87 Avenue between the Turnpike and the Palmetto. The address is 2600 NW 87th Avenue in Doral. The adjacent parking lot gives us the flexibility to circulate between the Minis and the huge covered courtyard. Lively atmosphere, lots of good food to choose from and cheap buckets. These informal gatherings are held from 8:00 PM to 10:30 PM in front of the red building with the blue roof.
