Sumter Friday Night ?

Well, to those of you that didn't make it out Saturday, be sure and join us the next time we go to Fryar's......this turned out to be a most amazing adventure ....we got much more than we expected during our visit !

We will DEFINITELY be doing another outing to Fryar's, probably a picnic type affair in the spring.....Pearl said we are more than welcome to come back and enjoy his beautiful property any time.

Words fall short in trying to explain what our day was like with this innovative and intuitive artist .... talk to one of the folks that went....

or better yet.....

Anyone up for getting together in Sumter this Friday night ! The "opening" of an exhibit that Pearl Fryar was a part of is set for 6 to 10 this Friday night. Maybe we could "MINI Up" around 6 or so, enjoy the art installations and then go for coffee/desert/????? Art, can you possibly suggest a place to meet ?

Mick

Hey Mick, The easiest place to meet would be to meet at Wal Mart on Hwy 378 and Alice Drive. It would only be a few miles from there to the little garden he is working on. I stopped and saw him saturday afternoon. It was amazing that he recognized me from earlier. The area is a rectangular in size and they are putting in a fountain that is premade. It has bits of broken tile and is very nice. You could see the stones the kids made with broken tiles like he had at his house. Let me know if thats what you want to do.

Barring a new hurricane blowing through......Ann and I are wanting to come to Sumter Friday.

Your plan sounds good...you know Sumter way better than I do.

Anyone else ?
