Columbia Area
Hi, I've tried many, many times to get Columbia MINI's together..with little success. Even started a Columbia Mini Club: "Midlands Mini Motoring of SC", but couldn't get enough interest. Started visiting Upstate Mini's. Just discovered this site. Is this M2C2 or another club. I'd love to meet with some other Columbia MINI's if you like. I know a couple other MINs I could bring. I'm MACS MINI of the forum. e-mail: jimmccormac@yahoo.com

Yes I am in the M2C2 club and have had a few events that I have attended with them and they are a great group of people.

Hi, I'm excited about MINI interest in Columbia. It's been hard to rally the troops without a dealership. The old Columbia MINI group use to meet at Chili's on Harbinson, Wed at 7pm. I'm retired and can meet anytime, anywhere. Suggestions??

I've suggested a meet and eat at Chili's on Harbison next Tuesday, Aug 9th at 7pm. We could plan a drive. From Columbia, Caesars Head is a fun ride and some people out of Greenville would probably join us in route as well as some from Charlotte. ??

Great to meet Rick and Ann last night at Starbucks in Columbia; and thanks to Art, from Sumter, who joined us. Great to see Art again. We are going to give Columbia one more shot. If anyone out there with a MINI is interested, please jump in. Happy Motoring.

fullpint that is good to hear. I am trying to set up a club by the name of Midlands Mini Motoring of SC. If we plan anything I will try and PM you in advance to try and keep you informed.

Thanks, Rick. I'll be keeping an eye on my inbox and in this forum.

Augusta is in a weird place. I see quite a few MINIs, but since the closest dealer is two hours away in either Atlanta or Greenville, there really doesn't seem to be an enthusiast group.

Most of the ATL gatherings on Sunday, which doesn't work for me, and the SC gatherings are in Charlotte or Charleston, which is too far away.

I am trying to save my pennies for MOTD 2012, though.

Not a post since Augusta....well New owner who owns a Home in both Columbia and one in Augusta checking in. Problem isn't lack of interest, its time management.

I just got a 2010 Laurel Edition convertible and am interested in a Midlands Mini if we can get this going! I am also a graphic/web designer, so I can help put something together with that, too!
