Safari can’t open the page.
Safari can’t open the page “https://www.northamericanmotoring.com/”. The error was: “lost network connection” (NSURLErrorDomain:-1005) Please choose Report Bug to Apple from the Safari menu, note the error number, and describe what you did before you saw this message.
With the site growing it has been, if the DB is on the same box as the App and Web server, it might be time to split off the DB onto it's own box. Dunno, just a thought.
Given that I've been traveling I've not seen these issues. If you see a problem can you please post to this thread along with the time and date you see the problem (please include your time zone)? Ideally I need:
1) Time , date, and your timezone when you see the problem
2) The type of problem (site won't respond, db error, site slow, etc.)
3) Duration of the problem (how long do you see this before the site is again available)
Some of the information I've seen indicates that the site is unavailable or slow during the middle of the night when there is little or no load on the
server. During the day when there is significant users on the site seems to be operating within normal load ranges.
I was definitely seeing problems Monday and Tuesday at around 6:30am EDT. Check your logs and I'll bet you see the activity drop to zero around then.
Zero activity in the logs doesn't necessarily mean a problem on the server. It could indicate a problem with the network backbones that support our hosting provider or any of the networks between the server and your computer. The more information you can provide from your computer the better the information I can provide our host and therefore determine where the problem may exist.
