I am not a person that spends much time on "forums" per se, but NAM is addicting. It is because the expertise and knowledge database is so awesome and easy to find. The humor is great, but what got me going was a thread to find out where to post a note giving kudos to the coordinators.
The management of this forum is awesome. I just saw a thread started that was complaining about a lack of response...no swearing, but pretty worthless. In 50 min the coordinator left a polite note saying the thread was going nowhere which was true, and the thread was locked.
No big deal, but whoever is managing this site is doing a great job keeping it what it is.

Thanks for the kind comments. We certainly appreciate a kind word now and then I would also like to thank the other admins, moderators, and coordinators on the site. Without them the community would be a lot less enjoyable for everyone. Thanks again!

Well, I woke up this morning with one post to go to get into 6th gear, and was thinking it should a good one, not just "word association" or "song title game" (even though I like both of them ). So I was cruzing thru the new post and saw this thread.

NAM ROCKS!!!

Mark, you've done a great job. My hat is off to you and all the administrators and moderators that make this site run. (Just curious, does MiniClo ever sleep??)

Anyway, for the number of people that visit this site and the friendly atmoshpere that prevails is amazing. Where else can you learn how to detail your car, learn how to change your brakes, excahnge CD's, meet fellow Mini-addicts and read up on Pop-Tarts.

 

After 6 years on Miata sites, I just love NAM. I've got 150 miles on my new MCC so I've spent 20 times more hours on NAM than driving the car.
P.S. My MA told me the dealer management considers our site as "spam" and he can't access it at work. How about that?

 

I love NAM. Great moderators and administration! I've learned more on this site than any other. FAST lock down on any offensive threads. That's why I'm still logging onto NAM!!

 

This is one of only three sites I post on. I can vent on the 3rd one what I "can't" here... and it's for the better.

Someone's management is certainly out of touch. Not surprising, but sad after almost 5 years. I pretty sure MINIUSA does not consider us spam. They used to put generic response-posts here but thought better of it, it seems. I'll bet they are stopping by nonetheless.
