Good morning and thanks for the site. Is there any hope that 'minicooperonline' will be compatible with Safari? Also, when using Chimera Navigator I cannot open Pulse. Otherwise everything is just ducky....thanks. Ron.

i use Safari, well most of the time. It does NOT work correctly with MCO. It will not keep me logged in. I will type in my password and name and then click login and it will log me in but as soon as I click on anything, it logs me back out so it is impossible to post messages. I have cookies and what not all turn on. I have to use IE to get it to work. By the way Pulse doesn't work in Safari either. i have reported the bug to Apple.

Try Chimera. I prefer it to IE.

Everyone,
I have a Mac as well and would like to get Safari working with it. That said, my backlog of work has forced this down on the priority list for now. I also want some time for Apple to have a chance to publish an additional beta of Safari along with providing documentation on why some of the cookie issues are the way they are. Stay tuned...I expect Apple will have an upgrade out shortly as well as information on how to tune sites to work with it effectively. Thanks for your patience!

Mark

Thanks Mark! I just picked up a PowerBook last week (I'm a "switcher&quot, and look forward to using Safari here. We'll wait for Apple to release an updated version...

'Til then, I'll use the IE I've been using, and enjoy the site!

I also highly recommend Mozilla as it is also much better (and more stable) than IE for OSX.

I would strongly recommend using chimera instead of IE while you wait for Safari to get better. I use both Safari and Chimera daily.

I'm also using Safari (which I really am enjoying-great for a beta program and very fast loading) and experiencing the problem of not being able to log in (this is posted using IE). Is this an Apple Safari problem or something that MCO needs to change, anyone know?

Peace to all

FYI: I'm running the latest update of Safari (1.0 Beta 2 v73) and everything is working fine on this website. I'm able to log-in and post. Check software update or versiontracker.

You have to turn off the "popup blocker". Just use the key command "apple/k" to turn it off or on.

works fine for me!
you may want to trash your safari files from the library.
it sounds like you need to get rid of your cache and make sure that you have cookies enabled!
good luck!

I've been running Safari 1.0 Beta 2 (ver 73) for several weeks now with no login problems relative to the site. I still have it occasionally quit on me but no login and cookie retention problems.

Safari now working!

I'm scratching my head but as to why I had any trouble with Safari 1.0 Beta 2 (ver 73) , but it's working now! Safari, OSX and MCO, a great combination.

Cheers everyone!

WOW. Finally I have found the answer of how to get the "Pulse" to work using Sarafi!!! I hated to have to use IE just so that I could get the pulse to work. Thanks Gabe for the tip....
Apple/Command K to turn off the block pop-ups.
