It really means nothing other than what it has always meant - Bacon, Lettuce and Tomato. It was just my lame way of making light of the acronym issue.

Sorry to disappoint your hope for something less savory you Californicator.

Whew! Thanks, ES. That was my first inclination, but I figured I'd missed something. I used to work in Defense, so I admit that I pride myself in speaking in TLAs (Three Letter Acronyms). Good to know I haven't lost my touch (yet.)

Harumph! Moderators - they get near 15K posts and they get all superior!

Back on topic:
I find neither WTF nor a kitty on a bun offensive.

you better shoosh or you'll be in the doghouse with me...and that would be bad because as much fun as my doghouse is, Tuls is a little possessive .

PS
I don't really have a doghouse, but I would like one, my birfday's coming up (wink wink nudge nudge)

Oh Oh - try including WTF in an email to your boss about why you should get the raise.

You'll go far.

Just my opinion. This clown speaks for himself
To my boss, eh?

My very first boss in the Air Force sent my very first project back to me with WTFO in red letters on the cover. I guess I was still naiive at 25 because I had to ask someone else what it meant...that's "WTF, Over"...just a bit borrowed from radio-speak w/ the "Over" meaning something like "I'm waiting for an answer." Was I offended? NO, I laughed my *** off! I worked for that guy for another 4 years and watched him garner more respect from all around him than any one else I've ever met. I still say (14 years later) that I would work for him any time/any place.

I say it's all about environment. I wouldn't take a child into a bar and then expect everyone there to censor themselves on my account.

Um, when my brother was 9, he was surfing online... and he still does. Alone, in his room.

You can't filter but so much from kids nowadays. I know i'm not that old, but it seems things have changed a bit from when i was that age. Or maybe i just had a very sheltered life. I can understand filtering on this site, but what would an 8 year old want to do on a car forum? Look at pictures?

If only you knew what your kid talked about in school.
