This is a brand new problem that I have never had before...using IE 6 on Win2KSP3 and when I close the pulse, it causes an error and shuts down IE altogether. Don't have this problem using IE 6 on WinXProSP1. I've restarted my computer and IE several times too. No problem using Opera or Netscape. is this only me?

No, it's only Microsoft.

Can anyone else reproduce this problem? I have tested Pulse on Windows under IE6 and Mozilla, on the Mac under Opera, IE5, and Mozilla with no problems. Thanks!

Yes, this happens to me too ... I thought it was just me! I've loaded/upgraded some Autodesk stuff and it seems to eat up all my memory - vidio card in particular - so until I get the new graphics card, I leave a lot of windows closed. I thought the IE errors were connected to that but since I loaded the new stuff the same time Pulse came on line, I didn't know for sure.

Part of the reason I've never considered that is that half the stuff i use at work is a couple of rev's behind in MacLand! I work at the whim of several clients who would like me to communicate on the same level they do ...

I just ran the pulse code through an HTML validator and no errors were detected that should cause it to crash IE. Can you provide information on the version of browser and operating system and I'll attempt. I have almost every OS except for Windows ME at my disposal. Thanks!

I've got IE 5.50 on win98 - I guess I should go to IE6 now ...
... thanks for checking all this, Mark! As I said before, Pulse is too cool,
and when my clients stop bothering me with work, I'll fix the stuff on my end so I can use it ...

IE 5 might be the issue. I had some other (non-MCO) issues with it on my Win98 box and they magically went away when I upgraded. I have tested Pulse with IE 6 on Win98 and haven't had any issues (yet

Otto,
Thanks for the information. I'll try this tonight on my OSX system and let you know what I find. Thanks again!

did a double check. Running IE 6.0.2800 (SP1) on Win2K SP3. I also did some tests.
1. If I open Pulse from MCO and close it (either before or after following a link) it crashes.
2. If I open Pulse from MCO and close the original MCO window and then close Pulse it crashes
3. I've put a link to Pulse on my website (www.geocities.com/dsb106) and when I open Pulse there (after all the yahoo crap loads up) and close it, without following any links back to MCO it does not crash IE. If I open any pages to MCO from there tho it does crash.

Hope this helps

If your keeping track and checking compatibility,
Pulse works fine for me with Chimera 0.6. on OS X 10.2.
