What's Wrong With The NAM Web Site...?

Why is this web site suddenly logging me off practically every time I selected a link? I click on a thread, I'm logged out. I log back in, read the thread, click on the link to take me back to the folder, and I'm logged off again. If I click to respond to a thread or try to post one (like this one), I get logged off... Super aggravating...!

Has something changed on this site that is incompatible with some computer browsers? I'm at a loss to explain it...

I've been off and on here all day, viewing lots of threads with no issues. Sure its not on your end?

Well, yes and no. I did some digging around on the web. Ostensibly nothing has changed on my computer or its software. So I'm not sure how or why, but it seems that the little "Remember Me" check-box next to the login refuses to remain checked in my browser; I now have to manually selected it every time I log in. If I log in without it being checked, I have the problem; if I log in with it checked, everything's fine... Baffling, but at least I've found a workable solution...

Safari 9.1.3. Don't know if I somehow toggled a preference or something; I don't usually monkey with the settings though; and I'm the only one using the computer... From my perspective, the computer just decided to start forgetting to check the box...

Don't know a whole lot about an Apple.

Only thing I do know is a story on how they got stated. Something about Jobs and Woz being in Woz's garage on a weekend when the parents were having a garage sale. Guy is walking around the sale with his wife when he sticks his head in the garage and sees these two college kids playing with something. Got talking with them and gave him his card along with a bankers name that he knew. Thinking the guy was the President of Intel.

I keep at least 3 browser installed on every computer for just the occasions when a site and a browser don't get along. If all three fail I know to look at the site as the issue or the ISP.

Well, thanks anyway. Sounds like something somewhere got changed, and this was an undocumented "feature..."

Sounds about right!

Yeah, believe it or not, I'm still running OS 10.9.5 Mavericks... So I think I have the latest version of Safari that it will support...

Sounds like a good plan. Up until now, I've not had these kinds of problems. With the older software I'm running, though, it could be that technology is leaving me behind -- and sneering at me in quirky ways...
