Commas and the Pulse

Mark or David
I just noticed something unusual when using the pulse. Someone made a post in the <The "Can't Wait for February Club" arrives!> thread so it popped up in the last 15 posts list. Put my cursor over it to see the thread title and all I see the word THE. Is the commas stopping the pulse from showing the complete name?

Doesn't happen for me (Netscape 7, Windows XP).

And there are no commas in that thread title; I think you mean the quotation marks.

No Commas just Quotation Marks

chrisnl
You are right, I don't know what I was thinking... there are no commas in that thread title and I did mean quotation marks. Thanks

Charles, which browser and operating system are you using? Seems like that helps Mark et al track down some of these glitches (although, being ignorant of such things myself, I have no idea why!).

I'm using Macintosh OSX 10.3.4 and my browser is Safari 1.2.2. Tried to load the site in Microsoft Explorer 5.2.3. but it didn't load the pulse properly. Microsoft doesn't support the browser for the Mac anymore so it doesn't matter. Tried an older version of Netscape and it didn't work either.

This is an issue with how the thread titles are truncated for the pulse. I'll bring it up with Mark if he doesn't post here first (he's on a road trip currently).
