Since Mark mentioned this in another thread, I thought I'd formally start the petition for it.

I approached Mark with the following idea: two pulse offerings.

Pulse Option 1: All Forums Pulse
Pulse Option 2: MINI Forums Pulse

The all forums pulse would be just that, all forums (all MINI forums, O.T. and O.T.::Politics)

The MINI Pulse would be just the MINI Forums, with no O.T. and no O.T. politics.

Dave

Dave/Mark:

I've thought of this as well in teh past. Somedays i'm not interested in posting in OT. I would much appreciate this for my MINI-centric days.

I think this is a reasonable option for times when the Posts to OT or other subjects might be going fast and furious and more active than our "MINI" forums. I'd like to focus on the MINI stuff and not be as distracted but still have the benefits of pulse.

What about having the two as independent features? Two options and you have have both types of pulse open at the same time vs one or the other (which I think was the original intent). Just a thought.

I have my pulse open as a window and I can see what is most or recently active by glancing at the pulse.

Excellent idea, I second (or third or fourth...).

Hmmm. I thought there might be more reaction to this idea.

I like it I like it I like it - the idea of a MINI-centric pulse.
I am tired of seeing that sig pic of Bush with his very curious forearm salute. ("Heil me"- Mel brooks in " To Be or Not To Be&quot

click where it says "Launch the Pulse" in the top right corner of your browser window. You will have to enable pop-ups for NAM to get it to launch (the pulse is a second window that pops-up).

The pulse is a continuously updated list of the 15 most recently posted to threads.

Welcome to the revolution!

I think it is a good idea if it doesn't cost Mark
any $$$$. I think that would be frivolous.
