Search all forums
This is how I do it.
Under search this thread there is an option for advanced search.
Click on it and you get a bigger box with options to-
Search by keyword
Search by member name
and in the right lower box
Search all forums is highlighted at the top
plus you can select any forum to search in.
This works.

Something I've noticed in the past 6 months here on NAM and Roadfly (sorry I don't visit MINI2 much anymore):
The "newbies" (for lack of a better term) seem to not have been using the Search function. I see the same topics, questions, answers, rumors, hearsay, and just plain B/S from some, repeatedly.
*are new MINI enthusiasts not as technically inclined as prior?
*Do most new MINI enthusiasts have ADHD, and just don't have the patience to do research prior to "Clicking Submit"?
*Am I getting cranky in my old age?
Basically, if you're new to the MINI scene, practically everything on the R50/R53 platform has already been asked, covered, researched, and improved. Please, for the sake of my sanity, use the SEARCH function!
Of course there will be some new stuff on occasion, but basic stuff like drivetrain, suspension, and int/ext mods are a beaten path by now.
Something I haven't heard, or seen too much of, are new MINIac's rides or experiences. That, and how come it seems all the new MCS'ers are s/c pulley phobic?
Anyway, those are my random thoughts for now,
