ideas for streamlining HTML code for dial-ups
ideas for streamlining HTML code for dial-ups
Mark,
There's no need to transfer 300 lines of CSS with each HTML page download.
To increase performance of the HTML code I suggest moving the CSS information into a style sheet, then reference that CSS in the HEAD section.
This way the user's browser would download the CSS file once on their first hit to the site and will only check for updates of that CSS file as specified in their browser settings.

Agreed. That said this is how the software delivers this out of the box. Obviously not the most effecient but until we get all of the style of the site completed delivery of a css file as an include will create potential css caching issues. Additionally before this will be addressed we'll be focusing on the major functionality that still remains to be migrated...like the Pulse, Dealer Rating System, etc.
Thanks
