Site is being hacked and altered!
Hello Mark,
Bad news. A thread of mine that I posted quite a while ago (at least a month, I think) has been altered so that it appears to have been started on June 3rd (Thursday), in response to the latest thread about M7's carbon fiber bonnet. All the dates on the responses to my post have been changed as well, to make it look like the thread just happened. I'm assuming that this was not done by a moderator, since I was never informed. I'm not really sure what the motivation is here, but I don't appreciate my words being used out of context and I've PMed the mods for that forum to have the thread deleted.
I wanted to let you know since someone appears to be hacking into the site and (at the very least) changing dates and rearranging posts. And I wanted to post this publicly so that everyone else can keep their eyes open as well. I'm not going to be on here the rest of the weekend.
here's the thread.
Thanks,
Chris

Could this be a software glitch, and possibly solved by the upgrade this weekend (since it sounds like the underlying software of the site is being changed to a different vendor)? I write software, and can easily conceive of a bug whereby a thread gets updated with the current date in an obscure situation, and it might have happened on the 3rd.
