Turn off FS threads!
Apparently I am not of the same opinion. It doesn't bother me in the least.
I sort by todays's posts, maybe that means 5-6 or more pages. I scroll down through the list and if I want to I can read it. If not, I pass.
Besides, Someone may bump a FS listing that I missed the first time and it something I have been wanting.
I would rather see FS threads than "Lets sue MINI for the Darn Timing Chain problem rant"

I for one, find myself using other MINI sites MORE, much in part to the fact this site is NOW MORE OF A FREE E_BAY!!
Heck other sites actually make fun of this one due to this, among other issues!! They specifically mention, if they want to sell an item they post here...anything else, on the others....
The problem is is when you look at an old thread, it counts as a PAGE VIEW, and adds are sold, in part, on page views....so I believe the killed the auto killing of adds to milk the system a bit....lets just hope they do not manage to kill the entire site by trying to milk it too much....

Which is really sad, honestly. I think any good enthusiast site should have a well-moderated and well organized classifieds section. There should be a good disclaimer to protect the site admins from idiots who think the site is responsible for scammers and deadbeats, and there should be rules and guidelines and tips in place to help prevent such issues.
