Is there any way to retrieve a deleted PM?
I have lost a contact and I can not find them in the members list.

Unfortunately, once you delete something in vBulletin it's gone. You may still have information if you save notification emails or if you have periodically backed up your PMs (using the feature located at the bottom right of the page when viewing your inbox or sent items). If you have the person's username you can initiate another PM, as the other party to the PM may have a copy of it still.
