"New Posts" slow to update?

How long does the "new posts" function typically take to update? As of right now, the newest post that pops up when I hit "new posts" is over an hour old, even though I've made several posts since that time, as well as received 4 or 5 email alerts for new posts from other people in threads I'm subscribed to. The new posts I'm being alerted to all have timestamps newer than the most-recent post in the "new posts" results.

UPDATE - Problem was with my browser, not NAM.

New posts for me are always fresh within a couple mins. Unless there hasn't been that recent of a list. But when i just looked it was within 10 minutes.

It's always been accurate for me, I'll use this post as a test. Was it just a temporary thing? Have you checked your User CP time zone settings?

Edit, seems to be working took this thread to the top of new posts within seconds (as long as it took my mouse to get to the button)

I saw the post you just made almost immediately in the "new post" results, but earlier today they'd been lagging anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour or more. I'll look over my settings again.

Thanks!

Okay, you can cross this one off your list - the problem was on my end.

I had the same issue today - the most recent post in the "new posts" results was almost 90 minutes old. Re-starting my browser (Safari 5.0.2 under OS X 10.6.4) solved the problem.
