I downloaded a free app from the Android market. I don't know what this forum runner business is about.

Edit: oh I see, when you click OK on the pop-up it takes you to Forum Runner. I just did a search and downloaded the app Northamericanmotoring.com by Internet Group Auto Brands. It said it launched today.

 

Forum Runner is a POS. NAM is joined with them..

Well I was hoping for tapatalk compatibility since I already have tapatalk and I think all the other popular Mini forums are tapatalk compatible so not looking forward to the prospect off having to use yet another app.
Also, forum runner doesn't have the best reputation out there. I'm hesitant to drop $1.99 on that app.

 

Oh Joy, I'm so looking forward to hitting the cancel button every time I open NAM on my iPad from now on. Is there any way to disable this?

 

I would love to have nam on tapatalk. It makes navigating forums so much easier and quicker, especially in areas of low signal, like my job. I'm quite sure the forums will get more traffic when users can access it whenever and wherever they want

Forum runner really? What a crap choice but at least it is something. Why does IB have to make things so difficult?

Is NAMotoring an iOS app? I'm not seeing anything in Google Play.

 

It's not working for me; I still get that weird server error. Are you on Android or iOS? I'm using Android (Galaxy S3)

Wait a minute, just did a search in Google Play for North American Motoring and NorthAmericanMotoring.com app showed up, and it's free. Gonna try it out.

Edit: Got the error message.....unknown response......software plugin outdated or having conflict.

 

NAMotoring app that I posted from was iOS. You have a MINI aren't you required to have an iPhone? ;-)

It even does push notifications very well.

Based on the URL, it looks like maybe it is a site specific version of Forum Runner? Anyway, the couple reviews indicate it does not work. It did not work for me - same error as MYT MSE.

 

Trust me......I want one. I'm the only one amongst my wife and friends with a droid and they remind me daily. My wife's wifi and battery are 10 times better than mine. 4 more months and I'm stealing her upgrade and gonna be the only one with an iPhone 5.

 

LOL, and I will be moving to Android soon....

 

Android here (until the iPhone 5 comes out ) for now and the app is also giving me an error.

 

I am glad that there finally is a move to have an app though!! I think this thread helped a lot in getting this done!

 

App is working on android now.

 

Still not working on Android for me. Force closed and tried to restart still not working.

 

Did you update the app? They posted a new version today. Mine didn't work until the update.
