I can't 'Quick Reply' any longer.

-I don't seem to have the problem on any of the other forums.
-PC running Windows 7
-Firefox and IE, both updated
-I have no problem replying normally
-I never had this problem until recently (the past month or so)

I fill out a post in the quick reply box, pres the reply button and it starts loading. It will remain "loading..." and never actually post. I've waited and nothing happens. I know this site has gotten slow, but the quick reply doesn't seem to work even if you let it sit for 20 minutes.

It's not really a big deal to me, but I figured I would point it out in case you guys wanted to get the bug worked out.

 

How long have you been noticing the issue for? This is symptomatic of where the slow site issues started a few months ago so I'll check into it to see if we can stop it before it spreads.

I can't say for sure, but probably about a month or so.

edit: Ok....ironically enough that was a quick reply and it worked I've been having the problem for quite a while and it was happening 100% of the time. Figures it works after I report it.

I'll let you know if it keeps working.

 

Went ahead and tried quick replying in the suspension forum and it didn't work again.

I tried quick posting this response and it didn't work, so this is a non-quick reply.

 

Try the following:

Log out.
Delete your cookies and cache.
Log back in selecting the remember me box.

I might add - when try and respond via quick reply. Has the page completed loading when you try and respond?

I went ahead and cleared everything, and this post worked after some slow loading. I'll let you know if the problem continues
I usually let the page load completely before posting.

 

Sometimes for me quick reply from Safari won't work, but in IE it does. I'm quick replying right now in Safari on Windows Vista!

 

Often the quick reply might not work if elements in the page are still loading when you submit a response.
