Spyware causing problems for MCO members
#26
Everyone,
As this problem appears to be related to redirects that are used in both the submission of posts and in user logins, I've created a little test suite to test the theory. If you receive an error when posting immediately go to www.northamericanmotoring.com/test and follow the on-screen instructions. Be sure to continue using the test for 50 passes or so and if you can get it to fail please email me at the address below (capture as much information as possible).
I still think this problem is relative to browser hijacking but hopefully this will shed some additional light on it and I can research it further.
Thanks!
Mark

Ok, Im getting a little peeved here. Now it seems to happen at random times throughout the day. Earlier I made a post and it gave the error, later I made another and it didnt, then later it gave me the error again.
And for the record, I havent been able to come up with a failure in the test link out of 150 tries.

Mark,
got the post fail again this morning at 9:17 am TX time. Login earlier worked ok, and a few earlier posts went ok as well.
Went to your test page immediately and did 101 tests. No failures.
Redirect times seemed to average about 0.1 seconds for me, although every now and then (maybe about every 10 times or so) redirect took 1-2 seconds.
