Well gang I did it... After reading over a good many of your suggestions on available options and dealer ratings, I test drove, then ordered a Mini Cooper. I cannot tell you all how valuable your information and feedback about this awsome little car was as I lived 3 ½ hours away from the nearest dealer, but it proved worthy when I finally got to a showroom and was able to kick the tires for myself. Now, unfortunately, I have an 8 to 10 month wait.

My more immediate problem for me is how to nurse an originally owned, very tired (235k), 20 year-old S-10 through that wait time.

 

Congrats on the order!! I had to wait 5 months for my S but it was worth every minute of it!!!
