Everyone,
You may have already noticed it when creating a new post...I have enabled the ability to insert YouTube videos in your posts. Take a look at the FAQ I wrote describing how to do this.

And just to be clear on expectations...all videos should be of the PG-13 variety. Anything more and we'll have to create a paid subscription area of the site to post other "questionable" content. At the minimum I'll need to create an area to post all my favorite Robot Chicken episodes

I used this for the first time today - very cool.

My only curious question - can the button be added to the Quick Reply & Quick Edit toolbars as well? Or is it only going to be available from the Advanced edit mode?

• Right Justified
• Numbered list
• Bullet list
• Decrease Indent
• Increase Indent
• Remove Link
• Insert Email Link
• Wrap CODE tags around text

OK OK, that might be too many... I've bolded the ones I think most useful though.

sweet! i noticed this as well. Very cool. Now we dont have to go clicking through various links to see when someone gets a new exhaust or some other flashy mod

 

Edit: Never mind... When I tried to convert a post I have done in the past from a posted URL to a Youtube tag for some reason the copy truncates the last character. Did it on three different videos. Weird.

I'm having trouble with this. I use the Youtube tool and past in just the alphnumeric case sensitive code, but 90% of the time I just get a blank white square. If I edit it out and retry 15 times or so SOMETIMES it will work. Other times I just give up. I'm pasting the video identifier in so I know it's not a typo... Confused.
