OEM JCW Brembo Brake Calipers

Category: Brakes
Price: $850
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R50, R52, R53, R55, R56, R57, R58, R59, R60
Location (Region): Midwestern
Item Condition: Used

SOLD. (See post #9 for next set - SOLD).

I grabbed some used units, broke 'em down and cleaned 'em back up with a modest amount of sex added in for good measure. (The custom rear plates took me longer than I care to admit). Still, a worthwhile effort to hide the unsightly slider. Most of you know what these are, what they fit, and what the caveats are to fitting them on your respective ride. So, if you dig the custom, shoot me a mail. Onto the fun stuff ..

That's the reaction that motivates and satifies.

This set is SOLD, but keep an eye out for another brake listing in the coming week or two if you regret missing out on this one.

Just a point of interest question, how did you secure those black plates to the rear floating caliper? I'd love to do the same thing on my F56 JCW.

So outside of the obvious rotor upgrade how hard is it to get these Brembo's under an R53?

How much would you charge to do this to a set I already have?

I've tried to post a new thread for the next set mentioned above twice in two days now, and it's either hung up or being rejected by the reviewer/moderator. (I've PM'ed them twice now). That noted, here's a quick look, and a link to the listing on Ebay. The price point may kick some of you out of the running, but I have to believe you might know someone who would love to spend roughly half what most retailers are charging for something like this. Spread the word, yo.

Oh, and no I don't have any more of these around the corner.

SOLD.

I have a complete set of front and rear calipers taken off a Clubman S when new; you willing to do the painting and if so how much$? TIA.

Those look good. I tried some Dupli-color caliper paint on my Cooper S front calipers and they turned out flat even after applying clear coat.

Appreciate the nods. At this time I have little desire to be a painter for hire. These sets are simply byproducts from custom projects that went in other directions.
