Oh sorry forgot to add that! In order to have this work, the mini needs to have the new interface that was released (NBT Evo) along with coding. The cable is the same as the other display so no need for a new one there. I can help with the coding for whoever gets this!

This also fits the clubman and the countryman.

 

I need help with coding. Swapping 2010 R56 Silver HVAC controls for 2011 R56 Black Controls. Dealer tried for $99 and couldn't do it. Need to override the control module.

 

forgive my lack of knowledge on the lingo, but when you say "new interface" what exactly does that mean? i have the smaller screen, which i hate.... i have a 2018 f56. definitely interested in the near future if this will work... thanks for any info!

 

By new interface, I mean the one that started coming out on 2017 Clubmans and Countrymans. Like this

 

I had to get a new head unit for my S and asked how much it would be to put in this screen and the Mini rep said, it would be cheaper to buy a new car.

 

 

I'm intrigued. So what is the process of installing this in my mini with the stock radio?
I know how to take the original headunit off.

But what are the consequences?
