A pair of R56 Halogen headlights converted to HID

Category: Lights
Price: $170
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part fits (you may select multiples): R55, R56, R57
Location (Region): NorCal
Item Condition: Used

I have a pair of R56 Halogen headlights that have been converted to HID. They were off from my 08 MCS. Currently they are not working probably due to bad blasts or controller, just need to swap those out and they should be good to go. You can try to fix it or use it as your project. Asking $170 shipped, or $150 local pickup.

( SOLD )

Perhaps I am just missing it, but what part is the halo? Do you have any photos of the halo powered on?

Or what you really meant is that you have a pair of non projector headlights with hid kits in them?

Im curious as to what headlights you have now. I'm trying to buy a pair for my R56, something like the projector ones in the post-lift 1gen cars.
Any recommendations?

I'm currently have the blackflamecustoms HID headlights on mine. But they are not cheap.

I know you probably don't want to spend the money on new ballasts or controllers but it would probably help your sale immensely if you fixed these first. I don't think many people want to risk the purchase knowing they don't work without having a definitive answer as to why. I bet if you fixed them though, you'd be able to get twice as much for them. Just a thought.

Not sure exactly where you're purchasing your balasts from, but you can buy replacement ballasts from DDM or even a full system for as little as $30. These are "projectors", these are just the halogen lights with an HID kit in them. He definitely won't be able to double his price replacing these. I'm pretty sure he's worked this out already though, so glws.

Thanks for the input first of all, I know I can fix it if I just install a new set of HID kit. But I already went for a facelift headlights already, I don't want to bother to fix this anymore. It won't be a hard fix, but I'm basically just selling the housing of the headlight right now for anyone's project.
