I have three of these intakes. Brand new in boxes. I believe they sell for around $160 so I'm only charging $80. Pick up preferred from Orange County, CA.

I'll need some help here guys. I'm not an expert. My buddy was the enthusiast .

 

I know one website listed int-300bk model as compatible with 02-06, but I don't know what the "bk" means.

 

Not sure. I only have one left now.

 

It is the system for the 02-06 cooper s. The one that fits the automatic (ie no silicon hose included, just airbox and filter) bk means its the black not the red or aluminum color

 

It's for the R53, and will fit either the auto or manual car. doesn't come with the hose.

I plan to reuse the factory hose. So no issue there. I have an 06 MCS, 6 speed.

Installed mine today! Didnt come with the moulding for the heat shield though:(

 

Sold them all. Only have 3 19% pulley's

Mine came with the molding. You can contact Alta, they will send you one (at cost). But you definitely want it to fit up.

I installed mine over the weekend. Working great.

Quick question. Were you able to get the stock inlet hose to fit up flush to the air box? I've been trying as hard as I can, and it's a real b*tch. I have it almost flush all the way around.

 

Also, I did the same thing you did. I kept the molding for the firewall in place too. I didn't trim that out. You never know, may want to go back to the original airbox setup.

Yup there is a little tab on the top that u have to trim off to let the hose sit flush.

And u should have to cut the molding at all. Just pops off then pops back on.
