Congrats on finding the shiftknob and good lucks on finding the console gauge holder --- they are indeed quite scarce but do pop up now and then but usually at rather high prices as there is a demand for them. Seems like lots of them were fitted to MC40's.

I did a quick search for 82940015951 and mostly got NLA's of course, but did get a hit from an oldtimer joint in Germany which supposedly has it in stock and for a great price too --- dunno if it's NOS OEM or a repro though? Also I've never had any personal experience with the shop but they do look legit (up to date on social media etc) and have an easy-to-use PayPal option,
here they are:

I have been wondering if it would be worth modeling this and 3D printing them. Do you think there would be any interest?

Need someone in Germany to order it from them and then ship it here. So someone can scan it and produce it here.

I could probably do this myself, but, do they only ship inside of Germany or do they ship throughout the EU?

In case anyone may be interested,
just thought I'd list this new option.

Available from Allmag:
https://www.allmagautoparts.com/prod...-style-r52-r53

Recently saw one installed on instagram via angryirishwench and it makes a great match with all the other JCW carbon bits:

Thanks for the mention! Yes, we have had the original center gauge console (additional instrument console) reproduced in full carbon fiber (NOT an overlay). The console is really nice and we are currently working with VDO to offer updated versions of the original gauge offerings. Here is another picture, this time installed in our shop R53:

I had one of these gauge setups in my first MINI (2004 S). If I had only known....................I would have removed it before I traded it in at the dealership.
