Some info here, just take out the airbox and access the top of the transmission, they pry/pop them off. On the underside of the shifter box you have to take down the heat shield and drop the center exhaust a bit then access the shifter box and pry/pop the new ones in.

I'm been testing ALL the China/knock off/budget parts on my r58 and I will make a thread soon detailing the MUST GET budget parts.. because I have tested the high end ones and Ile test the low end one. If they suck , I will absolutely let you know they sucked and which to avoid. But sofar for the win : Fapo coilovers YES even the 250$ non adjustable rebound lowest tier ones ride fricken nice and lasted sofar 3yr 15k miles. The toptier 500$ ones blow megan coilovers amd bc OUT OF THE WATER !!! Chinese k04 turbo , oil cooler kit , tubular exhaust manifold, catless downpipe, electric boost gauge, x60 0bd2 multi gauge , front lip , aluminum valvecover , intake ( ic piping too but I went with Cosmo complete kit) , xtd stage 1x clutch and 1x piece lightweight flywheel, turbo blanket and catchcan.. lol I figure if I can save 1$ on this mod I can invest that 1$ into the next mod and get more hp per dollar..
here's a few pics of my build and the coolerfaux shifter. will install it in the next 2x weeks and update.
BTW, here's the coolerworx right after I finished installing it. I didn't have it fully adjusted quite yet ( can hear it hitting the lower cover too ) and my buddy has the cae ultra shifter in his car. I currently am running the cravenspeed adjustable short shifter kit and upgraded bushings and honestly it isn't comparable to the coolerworx I used to have in my r53.
