I plasti dipped my front trim the other night. I have some 3M 1080 Carbon Fiber Vinyl coming today that I'll attempt to do. Good to know these are available though as OEM fresh appearance is always best.

 

Yep the plasti dip gives you a matte finish, very close to non dressed wheel arches(without the wrinkles) the 3m1080 gives a gloss closer to the OEM black line gloss. Well done. I am going to have to get the R58 the blackline oems above, I had the factory blacklines on my R56 before they landed in the US, we had them a couple months before they came out in the USA.

 

How did you plasti dip hold up so far?

 

These just back in, once they sell out they are nla. Only available here. I got a pair for my R58 JCW before they go nla.
