After Market Steering Wheel Install Stiff to turn does not recenter after turning

2010 Mini Cooper S
Installed a NRG Steering wheel Hub with a NRG Quick Release with a Sparco 350mm Wheel

I Had this professionally installed because I wanted the turn single canceler to work and the horn to work and they do guys spend 5 hours installing this wheel setup ,

My question is and they cannot figure it out they ran out of time ,the steering wheel is very very hard to turn and does not re-center after a turn driving down the highway you need to keep adjusting the wheel , it feels like a car with no power steering , nothing seems to be binding I tried to pull the hub off but they put it on so tight I cannot remove it with simple hand tools.... but that should not effect anything the hub should be tight and over tightening it would not do anything to effect the steering like this , is there some electrical problem if the wheel is not dead center on these cars or something ?

I can live with this gives me a good arm pump but annoying to drive because you turn the wheel left it will stay left

I would say they over tighten something, that hub should only be hand tight! Maybe

They have definitely got something in a bind. Sounds like they cranked it a couple turn too tight.

If I had to guess I'd say something got messed up with the steering angle sensor, so the electric power steering has been disabled. You might need to pull codes to see what's going on.
