Standard... and no, no concerns about heat from the small W5W. If anything, the small increase in heat slightly will decrease bulb life. That's about it.

This thread has inspired me to get rid of my eggs as well. I ordered 2 sets of the syvania silverstar turns and one set of the hoen side markers. I checked the site the original poster mentioned but with the poor dollar exchange rate I figured I would pass on that site.

And for anyone that might be wondering, for the rear turn bulbs 1156 replaces the 7506 bulbs.

Sort of. The 1156 has two pins straight across from each other, 180 degrees apart. The 7506 has two pins straight across from each other @140 degrees apart. The 1156 will fit, due to the shape of the socket, but you're likely only using one of the two pins to hold it in.

i ordered the silver vision signal bulbs from another UK site, http://www.motorbulbs.com/product_in...roducts_id/140

front & rear sets came to $41.50 + $1.24 that my credit card company charged me for the foreign transaction.

what kind of bulb does the side marker need?

Also, how long does shipping take from powerbulbs?

Check post #36... I listed out the bulbs for everything, there.

Powerbulbs got me my order in under 10 days. I was pretty impressed coming from the UK.

I had this made part of the deal when I bought the car. It is a definate plus!

Looks good. What route did you go - painting or replacement?

I went with replacement. Ordered the bulbs from newministuff.com. Couldn't find someone int the US that sold them :( They look great, Simple but great mod. Don't see many cars that have it, I wonder how legal they are in USA - CA.

I just got a set of these for mine. I love the new look. You can find all the bulbs you want from eBay. Search for chrome bulbs or stealth bulbs. I had a bad experience with an eBay seller. If you want his name to steer clear, PM me.

The bulbs are the best. It the nicest, cheapest mod I've done yet.

Sorry if this is explained already. I didn't see it.

How do you get to the front turn signal bulb? Do you remove the entire headlamp assembly? It seems impossibly tight to change a bulb without doing that. Thanks.

I thought the white turn signal option would take care of the tail lights only, so I didn't get it. I got the silvervision bulbs for the headlight turn signals, and took the amber lenses out. I think it is better than with the amber, but not great. Too bad there doesn't seem to be a way to get clear lenses w/out new headlight assembly.

Yes, we removed the headlight assembly, then it is easy to change the bulb. The hardest part is getting the headlight assembly centered when putting it back in.

Okay, I hate to be dense, but I am: Someone post a definitive how-to on getting those front turn signal bulbs changed because in my engine bay they look impossible to get at without removing the entire headlight assemblies. Gracias.

I will try to take a look at it tomorrow, I'm almost certain I didn't remove any assembly as that sounds too invasive for a bulb change. Hopefully others can chime in before then.
